How do I become a member of the test team?


  1. You have to have a computer available with the latest version of iTunes®.

  2. For apps being distributed outside the App Store℠ Apple demands that software manufacturers create provisioning profiles for testers. Therefore it's necessary that you send your device's unique device number (UDID) to the manufacturer.

  3. Locate the UDID of your device. To do this, open iTunes and connect your device. Click under DEVICES on your device. On the tab Overview choose Serial number. The text will change into Identification (UDID). Please, send this UDID info[at]Eco-Map.de.



Crashs


If Eco:Map has crashed your device has stored a crash log. Sending this file to the author helps improving the app. Please, follow the steps below:

  1. Synchronize your device.

  2. The crash log is now on your computer. Depending on your system the crash log can be found in one of the following directories:

    1. Mac OS X: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>

    2. Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<DEVICE_NAME>

    3. Windows Vista or 7: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<DEVICE_NAME>

  3. Send the crash log to bugs[at]Eco-Map.de. Thank you.
